When should you activate the DNS Administrator?

If your domain is using our NS servers (ns1.rx-name.net, ns2.rx-name.net, ns3.rx-name.net) and you do not have a hosting service ordered, you can enable the DNS Administrator feature to configure DNS records via your personal account in the order management menu.

When should you deactivate the DNS Administrator?

If you have an active hosting service or are using third-party NS servers, you need to disable the DNS Administrator and manage DNS records through your hosting control panel or via your NS server provider.
